Kyrgyzstan trip: Tour 6
Day 1: Bishkek - Burana - Kochkor - Son Kul
At the Manas International Airport of Kyrgyzstan you will be met and drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Son Kul. This lake is enclosed by mountains and it is the uppermost alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, located at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. Before long time ago Kyrgyz nomads used to come for this amazing area with their families for rest. On route you will visit Burana Towerof an 11th century minaret) and an open-air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). We will have a stop Ii Kochkor village and meet a hospitable local family. You will be shown how our national felt carpets are made. Night is in a yurt.
Day 2: Son Kul - Kazarman
In the morning we will travel to Kazarman village. On the way you will be told that 93% of Kyrgyzstan is mountainous with nomadic life in distant places. It is great to get acquainted with nomads and immerse in their lifestyle. You will pass via the wind laterally farfetched gorges. Enjoy seeing amazing views of the striking mountains and gorges. Today you will have a great night in a local guesthouse.
Day 3: Kazarman - Osh
Today we will drive to Osh city for six hours. On the way we will visit Djalal Abad town and Uzgen Tower. The site was built in 11th century by Karakhanids. There are also tombs that were used as burial hollows for the front-runners. The whole road will wonder you with its grand mountains and outstanding panoramic views. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 4: Osh - Arslanbob
The day will start from a walk to visit the most famous place - Suleiman Mountain. Suleiman Too (Solomon's Mountain) is found in the center of the city and it is a pilgrimage place for local Muslims. Biblical prophet Solomon (Suleiman in the Koran) was suppressed at the foot of it. Then we will drive to Arslanbob walnut forest. Arslanbob's grove harvests 1500 tons of walnuts per year and is the largest single natural source of walnuts in the World. Night is in a local home stay.
Day 5: Arslanbob
In the morning we will explore Arslanbob walnut forests. It covers 11,000 hectares and also called the "Royal Woods of Kyrgyzstan". It is identified that nuts from this area were exported alongside the Great Silk Road in the Middle Ages. Here we can relish the delightful nature and have a hike to a small waterfall. There are many implausible places. You will have an opportunity to communicate with locals. Rest is in a home stay.
Day 6: Arslanbob - Bishkek
The tour will start by travelling to the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek city. The road to the city drives through the southern part of Kyrgyzstan. On the way you will enjoy views of celestial mountains and gorges. See panoramic views of Tue Ashuu pass which is more than 3000 meters high! This road is defined to be one of the most beautiful in Kyrgyzstan. You will have many photo stops so that you will reminisce this day. Bizarre roads, astonishing views, wanderers, high mountains. All of them belong to Kyrgyzstan treasures. Night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Bishkek
Today is a city tour of Bishkek. We will visit Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, the National Arts Museum, National Philharmonic, and so on. Don't miss to visit our Asian Bazaar! Being there you will learn more about local lifestyle. Afterwards is transfer to a hotel.
Day 8: Bishkek - Airport
In the morning is transfer to airport.
