Kyrgyzstan horse riding: Tour 01

This tour includes horse riding along the Great Silk Road's picturesque parts. While following your tour program, you will get an acquaintance with Kyrgyz customs and culture; try the traditional drink Kumis (mare's milk) and some particular Kyrgyz dishes. In Kyrgyz language there is a saying "Horses are men's wings". During the great period of time horses played a very important part in the life of nomads, because it was almost impossible to survive without a horse in mountainous country. 

Tour summary:  

Day 1: Bishkek - gorge Jukutchak
You will be met by your at Manas International Airport and accompanied  to Bishkek. Transfer takes 30 min.  In Bishkek you will start the day with a breakfast. Drive from Bishkek city to the Gorge of Jukutshak. En route, we will visit the Burana Tower - minaret of the 11 century, and its attached open air museum of Balbans - stone warriors. After arrival you will start horse riding to Kashka-Tor pass (3937m above sea level). Afterwards you will ride a horse through the stunning red canyon. On the way you will come across the red cave that is called "500 rams". It is said that in olden times the nomads used this cave for their cattle. But some time later the part of the cave was destroyed by the earthquake. But even now it is possible to imagine the original size of this cave for 500 rams.  You will also be able to see there mountain cascade. You will have your lunch close to the cascade. The waterfall is situated not far from hot springs (40 degrees Celsius) that are also possible to visit if you wish. After having a rest we continue our way to Jukutchak valley. Night in tents. Dinner is served at 8 p.m. 

Day 2: Gorge Jukutshak - gorge Ashu-Kashka Suu
At 8 o'clock  breakfast will be served. Afterwards there is an ascent on horses to the pass Ashu-Tor (3636m above sea level), on the way you will see a mountain waterfall and also you can take a bath in the sauna with thiocyanogen water. After taking lunch you will keep on your horse riding down to Ashu-Kashka Suu gorge. At 8 p.m. your dinner will be served Overnight is in the tent camp. 

Day 3: Ashu-Kashka Suu Gorge - Kashka-Suu Lake
At 8 o'clock your breakfast will be served. After packing your staff you will have an ascent on the pass Kashka-Suu (3891m.).  Lunch is on the Kashka - Suu Passage. We will continue riding to the Lake of Kashka-Suu (altitude of 3800 meters above sea level) for 6 hours. Kashka Suu takes its origin from the glacier, that is why the water is so sparkling and pure there. We will have our dinner at 7p.m. Night in tents. 

Day 4: Lake Kashka-Suu - Arabel Suu
Breakfast is at 8 o'clock. This day we will ride for 5 hours along Arabel Suu River. After traditional lunch, we will go on to the mountain lakes valley. There is the valley of eight lakes. They are found close to each other and you can see them all together. It makes unforgettable feelings to walk there. Dinner and night near the Arabel Suu River in tents. 

Day 5: Arabel Suu - Chokoli Lakes (3006m)
At 8 o'clock you will be served with breakfast. Afterwards there is horseback riding continuance to the Chokoli Lakes. Probably we will see Marco Polo sheep and ibexes there. Not far from the mountain lake you will also visit the glacier. Your dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You will spend the night in tents near the lake. 

Day 6: Chokoli Lakes - Bishkek (by car)                                
You will be served with your breakfast at 8 o'clock after packing your backpacks. Today we return to Bishkek (capital city) by car. We will arrive in Bishkek at 5 p.m. In the hotel you will have time for yourself until you will be picked up at 7 p.m. to have a farewell dinner in a café. 

Day 7: Flight home
Transfer from the hotel to Manas International Airport at time arranged previously according to your flight details.
